Southern Oregon Regional Pilot Program (SORPP)

Advisory Committees

The Project will employ a Steering Committee (SC) of at least one County Commissioner and Planning Director from each County and a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) composed of local government staff, state agency staff, and others identified by the SC and TAC. Additional representatives from other affected agencies and organizations may serve as recommended by the Planning Directors.

The SC's and TAC's will meet on a regular basis to review technical information regarding farm, forest, and non-resource lands, to provide analysis and recommendations to the Regional Partners. TAC members will meet with Planning Directors from their respective jurisdictions to develop useful information that will serve as the basis of future policy discussions among County Commissioners and the public.
