The first public hearings regarding this Project took place in 2012, when the Pilot Program was still in the early stages of development. To view a summary of the public comment received during the Regional Partners' intial public hearings, please see Task 1 Product Submittals.
During the course of this Project, which runs through June 30, 2013, the public will have two formal opportunities within each County to provide comment regarding the Pilot Program:
- The first public hearing is expected to be held prior to the Task 5 product submittals.
- The second public hearing is expected to be held prior to the Task 7 product submittals.
As soon as the exact dates, times, and locations of the Regional Partners' public hearings are known, they will be posted on the SORPP Calendar.
Other Public Meetings
Public input regarding this Project is welcomed at Planning Commission meetings and citizens can provide written comments directly to their County's Planning Department. The Contact Us page includes contact information and website links for each of the three Counties--Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine--as well as for DLCD (the "Grantor") and RVCOG (the "Grant Administrator").
